Greenfields Community Housing has appointed Emma Palmer as its chief executive, replacing Phil Adams, who retired from the role in March.

Bathgate-based Weslo Housing Management is ringing the changes with the appointment of Diana MacLean as its new operations director. MacLean joins from Radian Housing Association – a 21,000 house provider based in the south-east of England. She replaces Mike Crozier who has been Weslo’s operations director for the past 24 years after forming the company with three colleagues to take over Scottish Homes’ houses in West Lothian in the first staff led transfer of its kind. MacLean has also worked at New Forest District Council, Home Group and Scottish Borders Housing Association.

A long-serving member of a housing association board has decided to step down to spend more time with her family. Laura Hendry, who is the only tenant member on the governing board of Barrhead Housing Association (BHA), has called it a day after almost 22 years on the committee.

Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) have agreed to appoint a joint Director of Adult Social Services (DASS) to manage the statutory social care duties of both councils. Angela Morris, who currently holds the position of Operations Director at Optalis, will step into the new role for a trial period of nine months, and will spearhead a project to assess the future direction of WBC’s adult services.

A housing association which was criticised by the regulator for serious fire safety failings has appointed a new chief executive. Leann Hearne, who is currently executive director of shared services and business transformation at Riverside, will take over at First Ark Group in November.
