A director at Housing 21 has joined the board of Trafford Housing Trust (THT). Kris Peach has worked in the housing and care sector for 20 years in both an operational and development capacity. In his current role at Housing 21, he has overseen the expansion of extra care schemes across the country.

East Kilbride Housing Association’s chairperson for the past three years, Graham Keith, has decided not to stand for re-election at this year’s Annual General Meeting.

Caledonia Housing Association has appointed a new chair following its Annual General Meeting last month. Alan Nairn has been a board member since 2017 and has served as vice-chair of the Association for the past two years. He worked in health and local government for over 25 years within the corporate services area, primarily focussing on IT, governance and regulation. Mr Nairn replaces Penny Coburn who has retired after 13 years serving on the board.

Lorna Wilson has been appointed new chief executive at Barrhead Housing Association.

Hjaltland Housing Association are losing two of their longest serving committee members with the retirement of Gordon Mitchell and Bobby Hunter. Chairwoman of the association Agnes Tallack said: “On behalf of Hjaltland Housing Association’s management committee, our staff and tenants we would like to thank these two outstanding committee members for all their hard work and commitment throughout the years. “Gordon and Bobby have dedicated an incredible 60 years between them as members of the management committee and we are grateful for all their dedication, passion and many hours which they have voluntarily given to the Association.”

The Regulator of Social Housing (the regulator) has made three statutory appointments to the Board of Prospect Housing Limited. The not-for-profit, lease-based provider of supported housing operates in Birmingham and the West Midlands. It provides supported accommodation to adults at risk of homelessness, often people with complex needs, including a history of offending, substance misuse, and mental health. In its 2019 Statistical Data Return, Prospect Housing was reported as having 1,860 supported housing units. The new appointments are: Chan Kataria, Group Chief Executive at emh group, John Ghader, Chief Executive at Prima Group and Paul Dolan, Chief Executive, Accent Group

The Liverpool-based construction firm has expanded its team with the appointment of Iain Sutton, former regional commercial manager at Wates, as its head of operations. In his new role, Sutton will help to deliver Crossfield Construction’s pipeline of schemes across the education, leisure, private residential and social housing sectors. He joins the company after 22 years at Wates Group, where he most recently worked in the company’s residential team delivering affordable and market housing projects across the North West and beyond, including the 62-unit Stonebrook scheme in Timperley on behalf of a Trafford Housing Trust joint venture.

Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA) has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of trustees. Hugh Carr and John Campbell were successfully recruited following a recruitment campaign earlier this year.
