Retirement Villages Group (RVG) has made three senior appointments to lead the business through its ambitious growth strategy to deliver 5,000 new urban and peri urban retirement homes by 2030. The appointments are a new Chief Financial Officer, Director of Project Management, and Technology Director. As Chief Financial Officer, a newly created Board position at RVG, Hetal Trivedi will be primarily responsible for risk management, financial stewardship, optimising the Group’s profitability and helping to scale the business during an anticipated period of rapid growth. In another strategic appointment, RVG has appointed Neal Haywood as Director of Project Management, Sam Gibson joins RVG as Technology Director to lead the launch of its new IT and tech strategy to enhance its business insights, empower high performing and connected teams, and enable closer relationships with customers.

Inspired Villages Group, the Legal & General-backed later living business, has announced that Sharon Badelek has joined the firm as its chief financial officer, in a newly created position that reflects its next major stage of growth and evolution. Badelek brings over 20 years’ experience growing customer-centric businesses across the UK retail, leisure and healthcare sectors. Her previous roles include CFO and CEO of Novus Leisure, which operates at over 40 venues across the UK, Group Finance Director at Vue Entertainment, where she was key in their expansion across the UK and Europe, as well as Group Financial Controller of Virgin Active and CFO of Westpoint Veterinary Group.

Unity Homes and Enterprise has appointed Cedric Boston as Interim Chief Executive. He will replace Ali Akbor OBE who led the organisation for more than two decades before stepping down to serve as a member of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Panel.
