North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) – the new name for the now merged hospitals trust and partnership trust – has confirmed that chief executive Stephen Eames is stepping down after almost four years. He will instead expand his current work with the North Cumbria Integrated Care System, taking on the role of System Lead for north Cumbria health and care. The organisation is made up of health and care commissioners and providers including the North West Ambulance Service, NHS England, Cumbria County Council and others.
