Lochaber Housing Association’s recent annual general meeting saw the retirement of Hughie Donaldson as its chairperson after 5 years’ service. The Association’s board has elected Andrew Carr as its new chair. Relinquishing the chair, Mr Donaldson said his five-year term had been challenging but rewarding as the Association addressed the chronic shortage of affordable housing in Lochaber.

Dalmuir Park Housing Association has announced the election of a new chair and vice chair. Craig Edward is the new chair and Matthew Reid is the new vice chair following the Association’s AGM.

A new head of health and social care has been appointed by Highland Council. Fiona Duncan will take up the role of executive chief officer for health and social care from January. Ms Duncan is currently chief social work officer for Clackmannanshire Council.

Homeless Network Scotland has welcomed five new directors to its board to round off Trustees’ Week, which celebrates the commitment and dedication of charity trustees across the UK.
