Peabody chief executive Brendan Sarsfield is to step down from his role at the housing association giant next summer. The move will see Sarsfield, who was chief executive at Family Mosaic housing association before overseeing the 2017 merger with Peabody, step back after 20 years as a housing association chief executive.

Three new members have been appointed to The Guinness Partnership’s board, including two chief executives and a former tenant. Ben Laryea, Gina Amoh and Lee Bolton were all appointed to the board of the 65,000-home national landlord following a competitive process. Mr Laryea is the current chief executive of Ekaya Housing Association, which provides housing and support services primarily to BAME women, their families and groups with similar needs. He was recently appointed as the new chair of BME London Landlords and is also a board member of Dolphin Living.
