Chief executive of Martin House Hospice Care for Children and Young People, Martin Warhurst, is stepping down after three years in charge. Martin will leave the charity in July, when he takes up a role at Wakefield and District Housing.

A charity that provides community-based services across the North of England has announced the appointment of two new executives. Kirkby has extensive experience of leadership roles in social care, including more than 16 years with Leonard Cheshire, Real Life Options and NACRO.

Platform Housing Group, which owns around 47,000 homes, has appointed Rosemary Farrar as its chief finance officer and Gerraint Oakley as its executive director of growth and development.
