A black and minority ethnic (BME) housing provider has appointed two new directors to strengthen its team. Simon Hatchman has joined the asra Housing Group as executive director of resources. The Bede Island-based affordable housing provider has around 14,000 homes across the Midlands and London.

A new executive director for health and social care has been appointed to Brighton and Hove City Council. Rob Persey will head up health and adult social care on the city council, and will be responsible for the team which commissions services to improve public health as well as providing care and support to frail or vulnerable people and their carers.
