The chief officer of Health in Jersey, who was brought in eight years ago to manage the biggest spending cuts to the department in generations, will leave her job next month. Julie Garbutt told Health workers yesterday that after ‘much consideration’ she would not be applying for the role of director general for Health and Community Services.
