The body of a care worker who had not been seen for at least two weeks was found at her home, an inquest heard. Grandmother-of-one Jean Haworth, 67, was last seen by a neighbour at her house on Helmshore Road in Haslingden on August 2 last year. However Burnley Coroners Court heard she was later found dead on August 17 and was in a ‘very poor state of decomposition’.
