A bride-to-be died of suspected sepsis just hours after saying she was feeling ‘on top of the world’. Leanne Davies, 35, had been for a job interview and came home ‘bouncing’ because it went so well. But her partner Andrew Watkins, 51, found her dead in bed just three hours later. Trained first-aider Andrew frantically gave Leanne CPR until an ambulance arrived but she couldn’t be saved. The death of the devoted mother-of-two is being linked to sepsis because she was diagnosed with the killer illness five weeks earlier after bumping her arm on a dishwasher at the care home, where she worked.
