A care worker, 25, has been jailed for 20 weeks after shining a laser at the Humberside Police helicopter. “Hard-working” Philip Houghton, who had no previous convictions, sobbed in the dock and apologised to his partner as he was sentenced for shining the £9 laser at the helicopter as it circled near his home.
